  Denji is a perverted little idiot that I need to protect at all costs. Power is so gross and deranged, an icon for a generation of girls and women. I love Aki so bad, I need him to be real so he can bully me into acting right. The Yuji-Nobara-Megumi of the Chainsaw Man universe, my beloveds.

  God this is so stylish and gorgeous to look at, everything bathed in a glowing haze of sweat, blood, and neon; I could feel the oppressive humidity and yearning in every shot. Tony Leung is always unbearably handsome and conveys so much longing with just a look–truly one of the greatest faces in cinema.

  Another entry in my personal list of movies that would have been improved by addressing the romantic tension between the three leads with a threesome.

  I had fun but I did spend most of the movie nitpicking every single bizarre plot point (Why is the concert in the middle of the day? How much does this extremely dedicated merch seller get paid?) and wondering if M. Night has ever been in a real life scenario or experienced genuine human interactions before.   You would think a horny bisexual vampire terrorizing the California desert would be an instant classic but sadly this was so fucking boring and the male lead could not die soon enough for me.

Following
