The people who hate this just don't get how this is perfect for an 1980s esoteric slasher summer.
I understand how pearl and X fans will hate Maxxxine because unlike the prior films it's not unique by any means and is not conceptually new or gorundbreaking. Noises are so crunchy.
Ending was sooo (the scream was mwah).
Details and parallels are so so goodd.
Zendaya looks yummy.
Music was also crunchy.
The ending does feel like a unique plotwist but in a subtle way when you realise that everyone wins but no one is actually in love with each other which isn't what I expected the premise of the film to be about but felt realistic and yet still satisfying.
