Really appreciate that this journey was discussed and brought to the audience.
The rarity of writers been bold and getting paid the amount they deserve speaks volumes about how the industry is functioning. What it sees as value contribution and what it sees as work sanctioned. Storytelling is the spine, brain, skeleton of the film, so the very first tellers of those tales much be compensated fairly and be treated with respect (which isn't in calling them sir/ma'am).
