  “He’s 17 and he’s 24” “The age gap was uncomfortable and problematic!”
  You’re kidding! 
  That is quite literally the point. Obviously that age gap is problematic, but in this movie, the age gap isn’t romanticized and it’s told from the younger person‘s perspective.
