  This early masterpiece by German documentarist Walter Ruttmann shows every aspect of a day in late 20's Berlin.At the beginning of the film ,we,the audience, arrive by train, early in the morning at an empty Berlin but soon life begins to emerge from everywhere and a new day begins.Ruttman's five act narration is a roller coaster of multiple images regarding almost everything that's happening in the city with fast cutting and speedy musical score.Koyaanisqatsi owes a lot to this film.Highly recommended
