My Dinner with Andre 1981
Honestly, I feel that this film is most interesting of one takes the conversation as a tension as disparate aspects of the psyche of any contemporary person of a certain level of sensitivity. Obviously the central tension between fulfillment through transcendence or through an aware being-in-the-world is as old as human civilization so attempting to litigate it once and for all is useless, but it does shed some light on the current historical moment i.e. that the 24 hour news…
