I’m 100% certain we could’ve tightened this bad boy up. Over 2 hours was definitely unnecessary, especially when it almost lost me 40 minutes in. I know we all hate the “uh…in English?” trope, but this swung a bit too hard the other way. Not even the slightest clue what everybody was shouting about in the first half (what about the FUDD?! Mmkay). Maybe I’m just dumb. Either way, there were just enough twists and chemistry to keep me til the end, and even stir my heart a bit, weirdly.
Also Jodie Foster’s hair?! So good.
