Soon as you see a group of old friends and one relative outsider step off a vehicle and have to hand their phones over you know it’s gonna get ….:::::: formulaic :(

I liked a lot about this but found myself zoning out.  Somehow less than the sum of its parts, cool moments and ideas but doesn’t add  anything new to a pretty oversaturated genre. Also a bit heavy on the Tarantinoesque foot shots which was just icky. Ayo is sensational as always, all the other parts decently acted but kinda bland

I’ve never seen grief portrayed so astutely. The deep disassociation to avoid its terror, all the time spent in fantasy of what we didn’t say, didn’t do, shouting at ghosts in our heads. How the past can fester and scratch at the windows when left unchecked.
I wish I could say something more eloquent about this film but it just ripped me to shreds. It’s truly singular - truthful and tender and beautiful. You have to see it.
