I really enjoyed this movie. I think there were a lot of relevant themes that translate to issues today. I also can’t think of Bob Dylan without thinking of my Nani, which brings warmth to my heart. It’s not a movie for everyone, but will be a treasure for some.

I really didn’t understand the pacing of this. It made me not as invested.

With that said, I guess I can kind of understand why people like this? Kind of? For me, I did have to think for a while on what I thought I was supposed to take away from this, and I guess that’s probably part of the allure. What I concluded is that obsession can be just as destructive as the crimes we’re obsessed with, but I can see there being other take aways if I cared to sit and think more on it. Which I don’t 🤷🏻‍♀️

    Greetings and Salutations.

I walk away from this movie wanting to ask everyone “what’s your damage” when they need an attitude adjustment.

I’m biased about this movie because my name is Heather and I have fond memories of watching this movie with my dad (way before I should have watched this movie, I might add). Nevertheless, it’s filled with great one liners, and is the epitome of a dark comedy/satire.

Naturally watching this in 2023, there are certain elements that didn’t age well, but the ending always holds up. Be kind, peeps.

Didn’t even want to give this movie another second of my life by writing a review… but I got really excited to award my first “1 star” rating. That’s all.
