If, like me, you wish you could have seen Timothée Chalamet in a high school musical, this is the movie for you. Much more enjoyable if you forget you are watching a prequel, it’s far more Paddington than Joker. If you want a villain origin story about how Willy Wonka came to enslave the Oompa Loompas, wait for the next version.
