  Godzilla vs. Destoroyah 1995

  From hot take to cold take. This film is legit fire (haha). If SpaceGodzilla was a menace, Destroyah was literally Hitler. That man took everything from Godzilla, and he couldn't even give Godzilla the satisfaction of killing him. Burning Godzilla is the rawest thing ever and the saddest thing ever. He literally cries! I felt something when the big G lost his son and he couldn't even comprehend why! This film really is the big bombastic end that the Heisei films deserved. They are super consistent with action and designs. This film is the cherry on top of a wonderful run of films.

  Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla II 1993

  ★★★ Added

  A bit more turn off your brain beam battle action than I was expecting, but its a solid time all around. Mechagodzilla being strictly non sentient hurts the film a bit cause it feels more like G force versus Godzilla as opposed to a proper Kaiju battle. Rodan actually had me more interested than Mecha at times, and this wasn't even his movie! Overall its not bad, but not the strongest entry.
