Like other live action remakes before it, Snow White only exists to retell the story to a new audience. However the original is almost a century old, and a remake isn't entirely unwarranted. Its serviceable in its execution and offers a pretty fun time, with fun songs and a general tone and color pallete that is intentionally designed to be heartwarming. The seven dwarfs are a little odd, they really should have been played by real actors. Snow White herself is good, offering a really charming personality. The Queen is bleh, nothing interesting, and the final act is nothing. Not terrible, but not anything spectacular.

Kingsman: The Golden Circle 2017
While it has some interesting concepts and scenes expanding on the world of the first one, even introducing an American organization in it, I never really felt like it fully lived up to the first film in terms of sheer action and spectacle. The characters are a little less engaging and the villain, while interesting on the surface, has a scheme that isn't actually all that complex or interesting. Elton John is in this though, and that makes it worth it.
