Disney's speed-run of nostalgia-baiting "reimaginings" continues with this clunky, overwrought, under-acted snooze. Everything that resonated with fans of the original (which Disney is betting on much of its current demographic having not been alive to have seen) has, like "The Lion King" before it, been stripped away in favor of pandering plotlines and awful visuals.
