The more I think about it, the more it sticks with me. A really powerful depiction of how the hard realities of the world affect the most carefree people, and how even the most supposed carefree people have trauma they have to live with and can't acknowledge .

Almost the best possible version of a Wicked movie you could’ve gotten. I agree with Marc Platt that it would’ve been cool if this was one movie with an intermission, but honestly didn’t feel like it dragged at all. Cynthia Erivo is unsurprisingly great, but I didn’t know Ariana Grande had this kind of performance in her. Both are well deserved nominations and while I haven’t seen enough of the lead actress contenders to judge, Grande should probably win supporting.…
