I was expecting a throwback lad comedy. Instead what I got was a coming of age comedy drama about the formative effect of one summer in your teenage years.
Loved the feel of this movie. It was like Dazed and Confused or Everybody Wants Some with a younger cast. Certainly didn't miss the fact that this wasn't an all-out comedy in the mould of American Pie etc.
Chemistry between all of the leads is incredible so props to the casting director, seriously.
