Mr. Chance, the gardener, is the most ignorant, purest innocent and simple-minded man of all the fiction. In my opinion, he's the first Forrest Gumps.

“I am not an Elephant. I am not an animal. I am a human being.”

I’ve never felt so much this heavy before after finish watching a movie. The Elephant Man is apparently well-crafted and emotionally evocative. Personally, I really have a strong feeling of empathy for Joseph Merrick, The Elephant Man — he was treated inhumanly. People displayed him as an animal; however, Joseph was very gentle, intelligent and having strong passions for art and literature. There’s almost no movie that possibly struck me to tear the same way The Elephant Man did.
