Shit frustrating movie apart from the last couple of minutes. Should've happened in the first few minutes and done us all a favour.

    Beetlejuice Beetlejuice

    ★★★★

I enjoyed this, as it was just nice getting more Beetlejuice that had the same vibe as the original. It's main downside is a bit like the latest Ghostbusters sequel, in that it takes far too long on the set up, leaving limited time towards the latter half of the movie for the really fun stuff. It leaves the movie feeling drawn out, followed by extremely rushed. I wonder if there's a longer cut out there that fixes this. Still a fun movie generally though.

A mixed bag of a documentary focusing on cyber warfare and the influences of social media.

It is interesting, but a lot of it feels like surface detail. I'd love to see another documentary take a much longer and deeper look into this subject, as its fascinated and something that is only going to impact our lives more and more as technology advances.

    Hellraiser

I really struggled with this. I so wanted to like it more, but the lead character is such a massive unlikable pain in the arse, that she completely put me off it.

It's hard not to make comparisons to the original, and they've totally nailed (pun intended) a lot of aspects of the Hellraiser idea, but the lead characters are night and day. Kirsty in the original was awesome!
Now we have a character called Riley - a weird fugly…
