The Longest Nite 1998
Surprisingly excellent. I like the plot, the monologues by Tony Leung, and the shots - they create a sense of mystery that I love very much.
The film's ending is extraordinary - definitely surpassing expectations but remaining reasonable.
“Everyone is like a bouncy ball” - who isn't? At times, we feel in control of our own paths, but regrettably, we may just be pawns in the world, part of the bigger picture.
