Man. Rock and Roll couldn't come soon enough. In all seriousness, this actually handles some of the darker themes (greed and corruption especially) well, even if it cops out for a happy ending.

The Haunting of Rosalind 1973
Definite "Dark Shadows" vibe from this gothic melodrama TV movie (part of the fabled ABC Wide World of Mystery (may eps are still lost). It's Henry James so you get ghosts that may be real or may be hysteria. The camera loves young Sarandon but the rest of the cast is pretty good too. Watched on the UCLA film archive live stream mainly for the amazing Amanda Reyes followup discussion.
