It’s not the worst DCEU film, but it’s pretty close imo. It has some potentially interesting emotional beats, but the film doesn’t do enough to make me care and said emotional beats are completely ruined by Barry’s actions at the end of the film. The special effects are not good and having two Ezra Miller’s walking around on screen is terrifying. There’s also the fact that WB disgustingly used CGI cameos of dead actors for nostalgia bait. Thor: Love and Thunder 2022
Love and Thunder is perhaps the worst MCU film to date. Stuffed with awful humor to the brim, Love and Thunder has more in common with a Scary Movie film than it does any of the other Thor films. Perhaps the film’s biggest sin however is completely wasting Christian Bale on one of the worst movie villains in history. Taika Waititi clearly doesn’t care about the character of Thor and his mythos and he needs to be stopped before he permanently makes the character a laughingstock.
