No wonder why I do non logged rewatches every year since I first had Letterboxd because I get to re experience a film I haven’t seen in a long time! I haven’t seen Antz for over a decade and a half, probably only one time. It never stood out to me as a kid, and I never understood why that was because tonight’s rewatch was a fucking blast!

I remembered absolutely nothing about Antz, so this felt like a first…

And with that, I have now caught up with Downton Abbey! Only 6 months until the third and final film, so I thankfully don’t have to wait very long!

    Huh?

I’m absolutely stunned to the core…

Roman Polanski’s Chinatown has got to be one of the most overrated films I have ever seen!

How could this be regarded as one of the greatest films of all time?

The plot moves at such a snail’s pace, the story is completely unremarkable and it’s just board a-line forgettable!

I love Jack Nicholson as an actor, but even he couldn’t save this in my opinion!

    I can’t believe that I found Chinatown so dull!…

I never saw a Studio Ghibli movie before now. Long overdue, as I never was particularly interested in anime as a kid, so I missed out on them completely, but I take it back now.

Spirited Away brought me to tears! I have just watched one of the most innocent, beautiful and most profound animated films I've ever seen!

Every character, every scene has something special. The animation is indescribable. I fell in love with every frame of this masterpiece!…
