  definitely wasn't really for me, and i did find it a bit boring, but a great movie nonetheless. holly's soft voice narrating juxtaposed with the spree of killings gives the movie an airy quality (along with the scenery of the vast great plains of the midwest) and it really nails that idea of romanticization and reality. everyone's sort of removed from their actions, and the killings sort of happen without the grandiosity typically expected. the film itself does a very…
