This is a sad hard to watch movie. But it’s also a very moving movie. It’s hard to come to the reality that there is a big problem with human trafficking but it moves you to want to be aware and help. It’s inspiring to see the hero’s that are daily involved to help and stop trafficking. I think everyone should see the movie. It does a great job of bringing awareness to this current world problem!

I thought this was a good movie. I really liked seeing how big of a rollercoaster it is emotionally to be a dad with his little girl. I found myself relating with him even though my daughter is still only four years old.  I imagine I am going to be very similar to how he was. It’s the protective dad not wanting to let go of his daughter and it has a bunch of really funny parts! Good movie!

Okay where to start here. I think this was one of the most over hyped movies. I think the biggest drawback is the storyline. I felt like it bounced around and couldn’t decide what theme to focus on and so just seemed like a huge lack of narrative. Also, felt at times stagnant and the crowning achievement or the atomic bomb seemed underwhelming. Not to mention it was 3 hours and I felt like you felt it at the end…

Loved this movie. I think it keeps you very engaged with the concept of time and gravity while still building a storyline on saving his family. I really like the connection Matthew McConaughey has with his daughter and that there bond ends up saving the day.
