  Really impressed with this movie.

  The first 1/4 of the movie I genuinely forgot I was watching a horror movie, as it felt like a slice of life into Malaysian girlhood. The kids had me laughing! 
  The settings, cinematography and colours are a true paradise on the eyes. 

  The movie loses a couple points for me because the most interesting part to me was the spirit woman in the tree, and I felt like instead of tying up that end…

  This is the first “coming of age” film I have ever watched that was representative of my own experiences as a horny teenager with “abnormal genitalia.” I have never been able to relate my own puberty and onset of sexuality to any piece of media before this film.

  Can’t believe there’s a movie starring gigantic rabbits and I had no idea about it???? 

  It was terrible though.
  But it’s also incredible???
  I read about how the director was panned during the time, for being unable to make the rabbits actually scary. 
  It’s true. They aren’t scary. It’s so clearly a bunch of domesticated rabbits looking confused the entire time. Which also makes it wonderful??? 

  But it’s very bad.
