  The opening 7 minutes of this are absolutely incredible on a revisit when the context of what this piece is actually saying is clear. Art film culture across America, and the whole world for that matter (thanks Emilia Perez) is founded on this moronic idea of the auteur theory that is fundamentally based in misinterpretation. This is the single greatest deconstruction of that mentality of artistry that does, and most likely will, ever exist.
