I might have given this a higher rating if I had known going in that it only covered the first two albums in Zeppelin’s career. Even so, the pacing of this dragged in areas and as far as documentaries go, it was “fine”. The real highlights are the interviews with the band and some rare concert footage of them in their early days. Seeing and hearing these songs explode in an IMAX theater was pretty cool despite the filmmaking being average at best.

The Big Chill 1983
The quintessential boomer hang out movie. My dad has described this as “a classic” but I was underwhelmed and a little bored. The soundtrack is undeniably great, even if the needle drops are a little too on the nose at times. Highly recommend if you are over the age of 60 though.

Look Back 2024
Look Back is an emotional gut punch and a beautiful representation of what it means to create art. I was brought to tears multiple times throughout the under 1 hour run time. The best new film I have seen this year and an antidote to the soulless slop (looking at you Gladiator II) that is getting fed to audiences in 2024.
