Didn't really work for me, I found it a bit boring... And the whole quantum physics angle felt a bit too hand-wavy, not enough specifics to make it compelling.

How did this get made with stars such as Mel Gibson and Kevin James? "C'mon, us Catholics gotta help each other out"? You're gonna have to do a lot better than this if you wanna fight the demons of Hollywood.
The screenplay is slop. A few generic ideas with very bland writing, no humor, no personality, no apparent theme, bland dialog, ridiculously anticlimactic final act. Add to that some annoyingly generic music and bland camera work, and the whole thing just feels extremely amateur.
It's at least family-friendly, so younger viewers with less movie-watching experience might enjoy it, I guess.

While the suspenseful moments were decent, the film ultimately did not work for me at all.
Firstly, the premise left a lot of questions. I imagine it was trying to be artsy by leaving out any explanations of where these super-eared monsters came from and how the family copes with simple everyday tasks that make noise, like flushing the toilet or sneezing, but it comes across as the writers just being lazy.
