Love myself a good war movie, and it was genuinely interesting to watch a WWI movie from the perspective of a WWII German trench soldier. We often see Germans as the absolute evil when it comes to the two world wars, but in reality they were just as scared and used by their government as every other unfortunate soul who fought and died. And this film really drives that home.

That fucking ruled! I don’t really have much else to say other than you should go watch it. Very nice dedication to Tony Scott as well.

Why did they have to add in that Andrew Garfield’s character was rich and mentally ill? Like maybe I’m missing something, but to me it doesn’t really add anything to the character or the plot. If anything it’s saying that only someone with those issues can go crazy from fame, which is just untrue.

Andrew Garfield in the first half was a pleasure to watch. How can you not laugh at him standing in the middle of a street, wearing nothing but a strap-on, and asking “Can I get an Amen?”

Also, Jake Paul appears. Idk why.
