Not terrible, but definitely very outdated.
It feels heavily influenced by Asimov’s Foundation series, in that it centres around diplomacy and logical reasoning to resolve conflict. However, unlike the Foundation trilogy, which was made over 25 years before this, there seems to be no intelligent or meaningful female characters, which just feels kinda lame watching.
