Insane cinematography, a compelling story that kept you engaged, some excellent performances such as Jon lithgow and Ralph Fienes and incredible costume design
Finding out that this was based on a true story and used real rta members just made the story so much more impactful. The performances from Colman Domingo and the rest of the cast were unbelievable from start to finish, the story was crushing and emotional, every shot was masterfully framed and put together and the score added so much emotional weight to some of the films biggest moments while making others all the more profound with its absence. Denis Vileneuve shows once again why he is one of the greatest living directors and film makers. part 2 improves on everything the first did in terms of visual and sonic storytelling, with some of the best sound design and cinematography I have ever seen. Feyd’s arena sequence might be my favourite use of lighting and shadow in any film.
