Denis Vileneuve shows once again why he is one of the greatest living directors and film makers. part 2 improves on everything the first did in terms of visual and sonic storytelling, with some of the best sound design and cinematography I have ever seen. Feyd’s arena sequence might be my favourite use of lighting and shadow in any film.
The sequel is also a tremendous improvement in terms of the importance and development of side characters that was lacking…
