  When I was 4, my mom took me and my sister (11) to see this at the drive-in. The big “scare” at the end of the prologue did me in — I was screaming and crying and completely inconsolable to the point we had to drive home, forcing ma and sis to miss out on the majority of the movie that followed. I tell you, a child’s intuition is a wonderful thing; I saved my beautiful family from having to watch this total fuckin’ piece of shit.

  Whew, this old favorite of mine sure was putrid as hell when seen with fresh eyes some 20+ years later; just a total pile of garbage.

  I can’t believe I happily paid to watch this THREE times on its opening weekend in 2001 — on my piddly Subway paycheck no less. That’s a lot of footlong BMTs (“Big Meaty Taste”)  I had to make for three tickets to this 100-minute POS (“Piece of Shit”).

  An awful watch. So smug, even while repeatedly picking the lowest hanging pop culture fruit possible.
