  Blunt sociopolitical satire building up a glimpse of an ode to the love that humanity has to offer. Bong has never been less sharp: he feels like a lab-accidented Wes Anderson pouring his past out off tequila shots, but I kinda like myself for liking it. Pattinson is great!!!!!

  An actress, the periphrastic narrative yarn that Hong Sang-Soo uses to weave together three sets of lives under the lights of the Seoul Tower. Sang-Won, Dong-Su, and me, all watching the lady in red and wanting to not die. I like Marlboro Reds too. I don't think life imitates art. Life is just life. You should go home and rest.

  I guess talking about Citizen Kane would get me chirped in real life but Welles’s craft is so palpably ahead of its time it’s actually impossible not to admire. My favorite piece of wisdom is the abstractization of Charles Kane, his life recounted through stories and perspectives, reincarnating him as an amorphous token of the American citizen, and how over time Citizen Kane itself has become the Charles Kane of movies through its retellings and reviews and indefinite stretch of greatness. How symbolic. Brisk and rich and so not boring and just indisputably a great time. Yeah it’s great. It’s fuckin Citizen Kane.
