  This has fully convinced me to start watching more movies

  I went into this movie expecting pretty much what ended up happening, but I'm still shocked. It's not like I haven't thought about any of the ideas in this movie (because I have) but it lays out existentialist topics in a way that truly makes me appreciate life in ways that no piece of media has really done.

  If you want the true experience, make sure to watch this at 5 in the morning like I did

  I don't even know what to say honestly

  As an introduction to Satoshi Kon's work, I think I made a good choice. The format of the movie was really interesting and unique, and while watching I could sense why this director is so acclaimed. I'm very excited to check out more of his stuff at some point in the future.
