  Weak 3.5/5. I can now see how people were fooled when Clark Kent hid Superman by putting on glasses.

  Essentially a series of Glen Powell character studies. Cosplaying job leads to cosplaying sex leads to, I hoped, Dungeons & Dragons.

  Pretty confident the plot would crumble under scrutiny. Enjoyable once.

  Edit: I was thinking about this rating, and the fact that the movie subverted my expectations is another reason why it's a 3 or 3.5 and not lower.

  Jennifer's Body 2009

  This movie is bonkers and hilarious. It is filled to the brim with one-liners of all shapes and sizes including the extremely "edgy/anything is funny" jokes from Jennifer and a one or two side characters.

  "What's up vagisil?"
  "Nice hardware ace"
  "It's not a fucking boxing movie"
  "She's just hovering, it's not that impressive."

  It's probably too packed with references but the movie doesn't take itself seriously so you shouldn't either. Megan Fox wearing the Evil Dead shirt was *chefs kiss*.

  Jennifer's Body is more of a dark comedy/horror satire than The Substance. Strong 3.5/5.
