One Hour Photo 2002
Strong 3 -- don't think it merits higher. Robin Williams is fantastic at portraying a sociopath and his, essentially, obsession with customer, her family, and his fantasy of inclusion. You can genuinely feel the cringe, creepiness, and ick of his performance.
That said, the plot is a generous on how it moves from A to Z. Williams is really carrying the movie here.

I'm struggling with a rating for this one. Joaquin Phoenix is obviously an excellent actor. That is clear. Strangely, what is also clear is how much an actor needs to give to being "the Joker" -- no matter which iteration you're considering. Think about it: Jack Nicholson, Mark Hammil, Heath Ledger, Jared Leto...all of these folks, besides voice actor Hammil, can be seen as emotionally fringe at minimum some of the time.
