  the fact this exists proves we're in a pretty good universe, all things considered: most shows don't get three lads that are this good together on camera. most shows don't exist at the absolute peak in their field for their whole time on the air. most shows don't get to run for **twenty-one** years. and, once they'd leapt all those monolithic hurdles, they managed to do the impossible: choose a definitive endpoint and make it feel like a worthwhile closing-of-the-door. i cried three times

  the most unrealistic thing this movie does in service of the plot is to give the police a budget problem. the north butte police department would have a tank, five SWAT teams and a gundam if they remade this shit in our lord's year of 2024

  this is one of my favorite movies of all time although i am acutely aware of the fact it is fucking terrible
