    There are few movies that I would be both hesitant and eager to recommend to others. This superposition is likely caused by the many others entangled within Dancer in the Dark.     The first half/quarter (don't really know which) were COMPELLING. So gripping! I adored the way it cut from the relatively quiet bickering of talking heads to Godzilla's larvae destroying Japan, each structure going down with a booming bass. The contrast between the suits and the material world was such a genius choice.
