Shin Godzilla 2016
The first half/quarter (don't really know which) were COMPELLING. So gripping! I adored the way it cut from the relatively quiet bickering of talking heads to Godzilla's larvae destroying Japan, each structure going down with a booming bass. The contrast between the suits and the material world was such a genius choice.

The Karate Kid Part II 1986
I thought this sequel was pretty good. The story is a little more stupid and over the top, but Pat Morita's acting, Ralph Macchio's charm, and the message of never putting passion over principle save it. Really liked the message, actually. Good 80's movie overall.

Zack Snyder's Justice League 2021
This by no means is a perfect movie, but I had a great time watching it. The reason I'm giving it a 5/5 is because it represents what I love about art. I love that Snyder got his rightful chance to tell the story he wanted in whatever weird way he wanted. I purely think it's beautiful and poetic that he dedicated this movie to his daughter and it touched me to my core.
