humans in itself is laughable where we create films like this to critique the very society we live and breathe for, displaying a level of self-awareness that almost scrutinizes our culture, but lack the means to do something about it.
maybe it's the volume of the impact that dehumanizes us, forcing us to believe that it's not as bad because how could it be that bad?

was i smart enough to piece things together without saying 'huh?' every time a new twist was thrown in? i doubt it, but i thoroughly enjoyed this crime, drama, thriller, psychological whatever.
as a non-movie nerd, i did not have a good appreciation for nolan's films because i lack the attention span to enjoy a movie that required a certain brain level to understand, but thankfully, memento was a good film to enjoy and follow without boring me to death…
