  As a former Catholic with no love lost for the church, I watched this begrudgingly because of the acclaim it has received. 
  It was beautifully crafted with undeniably masterful performances. 
  I’ve now seen four of the best picture nominees and this one is tops in my book. Anora was lovely; Conclave was better.
