Challengers 2024
At first, I was like, "Okay, it's good, but what's so impressive about it?" But it didn't take long until it captivated me with its uniqueness in storytelling. It shifted between genres so smoothly that I was hooked before I knew it.
It just felt a bit tiring, I got so caught up in trying to analyse every angle, every scene transition that I felt lost at times. There could have been less camera plays and still have the same impact on the audience. But that was probably just me trying to be a film critic without little knowledge I have on filming.
