The children singing in the scouse accent “send me a letter to tell me when you’re better” is just the cutest thing. Felt very clever to recognise this and lots of the other old footage as from the 1959 documentary Morning in the Streets - permanently on BBC iplayer and well worth a watch.

I must be the only person on Letterboxd who hadn’t seen this yet. Incredibly, other than having an inkling of the basic premise, all I knew was:
Someone/something gets hit by a boulder or rock
Ram-don would be involved
Very enjoyable, though it left me with the urge to listen to Joan Baez more than it did Bob Dylan.
My personal highlight was the two old women who came in 20 mins before the end, clearly in the wrong film. They then sat there for the remainder of the film and proceeded to complain all through the credits about what a terrible ending it was and how the volume was appallingly loud.
Was pretty much constantly either laughing or crying through the whole thing to the extent it was actually embarrassing.
