Absolute fave by him I've seen. Can't stop thinking about the sound of Camilla/rita's heels echoing in the misty palm trees as she runs across the road in the beginning of the film as an echo to the llorando performance where her voice is repeating while they literally drag her body off stage, just like how camilla literally drags herself head over heels to find Diane, remade in Diane's fantasy as snow white running through the woods to her prince...so much loneliness and passion and bizarro fantasy as an escape from reality, even a reality as concrete as death in Diane's case, wow I love movies

So bad, except for when it's great. A horribly acted but wonderfully atmospheric take on loss and using fantasy to cope with loss. Also that first scene with the silver ball was nuts lol
