I made a letterboxd account because I was worried the film police would arrest me if I didn't make one.

Opus 2025
Felt like Midsommar and The Menu had a baby and the baby was rather mid. Not an awful film by any stretch but it's one where I felt its themes and ideas were better executed elsewhere and didn't feel as tired as they did here. But Edebiri and Malkovich are both terrific in this film and you can't go wrong a score and music by Nile Rogers

Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb 1964
A darkly and tragically hilarious film. This still feels sadly relevant in many ways - the depictions of war, paranoia, bureaucracy, and the repeating cycles of humanity and destruction. Welles is fantastic in all three of his roles - two hilarious straight men and the titular character who, despite having less screen time than expected, plays the slimy ex-nazi to a hilarious degree. Without a doubt one of the best political comedies I've seen and a reminder that Kubrick is a masterfully great director.

Late Night with the Devil 2023
Saw this one last night before I knew about it using any AI artwork, I didn't find out about that till after the film and that is extremely disappointing and depressing. AI artwork is nothing more than a cheap and lazy cost cutting tool that takes away jobs from graphic designers and artists who could've easily produced the artwork for this film with the right care and passion.
It's disheartening to hear cause there's a lot of good things to…
