Letters from Kanai Nirai 2005
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
Maybe it deserved a higher rating on my part, but I can't get pass that the outcome of the film was quite clear from the start. I never found the story believable so I couldn't empathize with it's protagonist. Once she discovers the truth the film takes forever to end, and it does in such a soppy way.

Midnight Diner 2019
This film is a Chinese version of the Japanese Midnight Diner TV series and films, based on a manga of the same name. Unfortunately it lacks the charisma and charm of the original. Characters are bland, and acting by the leading character, the Chef, flat and expresionless. It also fails to introduce any new ideas or elements, all stories presented are cliches. Disappointing.
