I have a soft spot for swimming movies 🥹 And queer swimmers!!! Did I think she was gonna kiss her friend at some point… yes…. But I also love a celebration of friendship 🫶 but tbh the queerness was not extremely palpable in this movie which made me a lil sad because queer athletes are amazing and should be spotlighted, and then when they are, their queerness is glazed over with literally *one* scene with a crowd having rainbow flags…
