Wicked 2024
I didn’t know much going in besides a vague memory of the wizard of oz film. With that being said though, I absolutely loved it!
I love how immersive everything feels. It’s a great use of both cgi environment and amazing practical sets, that made the world more lived in. The music is sooo good, although I feel like I didn’t pay as much attention to the lyrics, and was more so in awe of it. Defying gravity deserves all…

Interstellar 2014
I remember first watching this back in 2016, high school physics class. 16 year old me was blown away back then. 24 year old me is still blown away today.
This is now my second time ever watching this film, and to be able to see it on the big screen was breathtaking. It’s truly a spectacle , especially when it cuts to the IMAX sequences, which leave you speechless. I can’t really pick out a flaw in this film.…

The Grand Budapest Hotel 2014
Finally watched a Wes Anderson film. Do I get my cinephile badge yet?
Having only seen clips of Wes Anderson’s films I wasn’t sure what I would think of this movie, but I was thoroughly surprised. It’s a fairly simple plot, but you feel totally immersed in the world. I really like the way this was shot, the symmetry of shots and camera work flow well. I really love the vibrancy and use of colour in the story, it serves a purpose. The set design is amazing, as is the music. There are some fantastic actors here who all give great performances.

Spider-Man: Homecoming 2017
I really don't understand how people can hate on these Spider-Man films. Spider-Man: Homecoming is so much fun, and Tom Holland brings great energy to the role. I love how much time we get to spend with Peter in high school. The “Peter Parker” moments are just as enjoyable, whether he’s dealing with bullies like Flash or getting into antics with his best friend.
Michael Keaton’s Vulture is one of the best MCU villains—grounded, relatable, and directly tied to Peter’s…

Captain America: Brave New World 2025
I personally enjoyed this a lot despite the reshoots that took place. Is it the greatest MCU film? Not really, but it’s definitely a fun ride.
Anthony Mackie brings a great energy to the role of captain America, definitely worthy of the title in my opinion.
The action is fantastic, I loved the aerial battles with cap and the new falcon.
Harrison Ford did a pretty good job in the role of Thaddeus Ross. Watching a giant red angry Harrison…
