    This was my favourite live score screening, musician Madeline Cocolas used a theremine on top of vocals and an electronic keyboard but the theremine alone is top tier.     Simultaneously the longest and shortest two hours in existence, the first 10 mins featuring more songs than most other musicals, Nicole Kidman dazzles as a Tex Avery cartoon babe come to life and the most overtly Bollywood influenced of Baz's works. Every single shot in this is film is like an all-timer and they all get to exist on screen for like 1/2 a second each.

    It's kind of all too much icing and sugar on an already stacked cake but fuck man, I crave for this type of junkie maximalism to return.
