Heretic 2024
Film of the year for me, finished only a few minutes before midnight on the 31st of December.
Its rare for me to not spot or guess the plot twists to horrors, which takes a lot of the magic out of watching them at all these days, but this had me pleasantly surprised at multiple points. Superb acting from all involved and can we all clap for two female leads who are not dumb and helpless? Actually rational, and yes shortsighted at points, but savvy and smart too.

Easy 5 stars for me. Absolutely horrible, makes you feel awful, and seriously made me review my current emergency plan. Bad vibes all around, but a must watch, both as a horror film and also a true PSA now, as it was then. Incredible audio, visuals, effects and story telling.
